ListenUp Audio

Displaced by new freeway construction the client purchased a nondescript printing plant building in which to place their high end audio showroom. The showroom is an surprising and inviting new environment set within an otherwise unimproved existing structure. Conceived as a space with a residential warmth but not mimicking a house colors and materials are allocated to serve as a refined but quiet background to beautiful audio, video, lighting and kitchen gear. The lighting scheme is designed to highlight the items being marketed. Within the showroom is a state of the art home theater space designed to accommodate changing technology for both projectors as well as the screen itself. Care was taken to provide acoustical separations as needed without making the spaces overly confining.
