At the edge of a rapidly transforming industrial area near Coors Field this new lighting and sign fabrication facility also contains a comfortable showroom and office area. In order to yield the required fifteen thousand square feet of interior space every bit of the site was used to fulfill the landscape, parking and storm water detention areas required by regulation. A vocabulary of materials and details was chosen to express the dual nature of the building's uses. Toward the rear of the site the concrete masonry volume with its high ceiling accommodates a range of sophisticated fabrication processes from computer guided material cutting to glass bending. The cool green metal clad office area with generous windows and masonry entry elements presents an inviting face to the street.
